Meet Garrison
Over the past five years, my journey has been dedicated to acquiring and honing the skills needed to serve clients in need to command their story. My experience transitioned from covering my own nationally ranked team to working with university athletic departments and collaborating with diverse clients.
In 2019, I found my initial passion for digital storytelling while working with the Hang Tough Foundation. That initial spark evolved rapidly as I moved to Charlotte, NC.
While working with a 5-time National Champion team that had very little social media presence, I saw an opportunity to combine structure and narrative. During my junior year, I not only planned and executed a media day and a hype video but also covered their 6th National Championship.
My time as a Graduate Assistant and later as the Assistant Director of Social Media & Digital Content at Queens University (as they transitioned to Division I) was all about control. I built the first-ever Media Room, a central, creative space, for all teams to utilize, demonstrating my commitment to providing tools and resources that foster collaborative fun.
This journey culminated in a contract with Lazarus Design Team, where I transitioned from a team-based role to a client-facing position. Here, I learned to step outside my comfort zone, slow down, listen to diverse client needs, and meticulously create a social media plan, a precise map, for the upcoming month.
From the relentless practice of competitive swimming to the meticulous planning of a media day, every step has prepared me to bring strategic control and authentic flow to your business..
